Bright Blue’s latest report, Going greener? Public attitudes to net zero, has been the featured in an article in The Telegraph. The article highlighted some of the key findings of our report, including that a majority of people are reluctant to pay more for their energy bills and believe that net zero 2050 will not be achieved.
Report author and Bright Blue Senior Research Fellow, Anvar Sarygulov, was quoted: "Government and businesses need to do more to help and incentivise householders to retrofit their homes. A more generous successor to the Green Deal is needed so people are given the upfront finance to afford to install new heating systems and energy efficiency measures.”
